Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Northman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Northman throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily.
Gonzalez uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Northman.
Northman throws a nice outside leg kick.
Northman moves in looking to clinch but Gonzalez pushes him off.
Gonzalez gets a clinch.
Gonzalez wants a takedown.
Gonzalez changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Northman fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gonzalez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Northman's waist but Northman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gonzalez off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marcello Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Northman shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gonzalez is trying to defend but Northman finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Gonzalez throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Northman wants to pass to mount but Gonzalez is defending the position.
Gonzalez makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gonzalez.

Gonzalez has his feet on Northman's thighs here. He's pushed Northman off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Northman screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
