Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dexter Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Lewis!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly takes one to the side of the head.
Lewis throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kelly.
Kelly lands a head kick!
Kelly keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lewis.
Some wild striking there from Lewis.
Lewis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kelly manages to avoid it.
Lewis throws a lazy right hand but Kelly sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A swing and a miss from Lewis.
Lewis tests Kelly's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Kelly moves away from the strike by Lewis.
Lewis looks to score with a jab to the body but Kelly is just out of range.
Lewis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Lewis missing with a left hand there. Kelly was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
A jab from Kelly does it's job there.
A combination from Lewis does no damage.
Good leg kick by Kelly there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Kelly misses with a series of wild punches.
Lewis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lewis misses with a combination
and Kelly makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Lewis looks gassed!
Kelly slips under a jab.
Kelly throws a nice outside leg kick.
Kelly displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kelly, right into the meat.
Kelly throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Kelly lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kelly throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.
Lewis misses with a double jab
and Kelly counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kelly grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Lewis takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kelly cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
