The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko feints and as McLovin raises his hands in defense, Emelianenko changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emelianenko content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Emelianenko drops back looking for a leg! McLovin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McLovin manages to kick Emelianenko off! Emelianenko jumps back into McLovin's guard.
Emelianenko advances to half guard.
Emelianenko missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Emelianenko winds up and cracks McLovin with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

McLovin is trying to stand back up but Emelianenko is controlling him

Emelianenko shoots in but McLovin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McLovin looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
McLovin scores with a kick to the midsection.
Mak McLovin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Emelianenko looks gassed!
McLovin lands with a big right hook that stumbles Emelianenko - he's out on his feet here! McLovin follows up with another monster hook that separates Emelianenko from consciousness! Emelianenko falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! McLovin stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
