Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Pilon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Ernst (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Ernst is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carl Ernst!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Carl Ernst showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ernst can do anything to dispel that myth.
Pilon is fighting to break Ernst's control of his arms but Ernst is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Patrick Pilon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pilon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pilon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
