PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomi Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matti Wanhanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koski comes into the arena with Dj Neon - In Hardtrance I Trust blaring out of the sound system. Wanhanen has chosen Mina olen by Kotiteollisuus as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tomi Koski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matti Wanhanen!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koski looks to throw the jab but Wanhanen is out of range.

Wanhanen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Koski is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wanhanen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Koski's back instead.

Wanhanen looking to break Koski's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Koski remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Wanhanen will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
