Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Graf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calico Jack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Graf had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 206.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Calico Jack has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chris Graf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Calico Jack! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Graf with that takedown attempt. Graf throws a looping overhand right but Jack ducks down to avoid it. Jack fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Graf, pushing him back against the cage. A right hand to the body from Jack.

Jack fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Graf checks it well. A jab from Graf misses. Graf tries to score with a low kick but Jack moves his leg out of the way. Jack looks to throw the jab but Graf is out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jack ducks under a wild hook from Graf. Jack changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Jack displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Graf. Jack jabbing away but nothing is landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bone on bone clash there as Jack blocks the leg kick.
Calico Jack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jack tries to clinch but Graf is having none of it. Jack throws a shot from downtown. Graf moves away and avoids it. Jack slips a jab from Graf. Graf throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Jack misses the shot to the body. Jack looks to score with a jab to the body but Graf is just out of range. Jack connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Chris Graf has been cut. Jack throws a body punch but Graf moves out of range. Jack fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Graf checks it well. Graf throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jack stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Graf takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Graf darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Graf is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jack wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Graf there. Jack tries to kick Graf off but Graf keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Graf not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Graf sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jack defending well though. Jack is staying active underneath Graf, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Graf has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Graf tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Graf is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Graf throws a leg kick and Jack cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Graf throws out the jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jack on the wrong end of a nice jab. Jack misses the shot to the body. Jack sizes up Graf with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Jack checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Jack throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jack fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Graf manages to avoid it. Graf wants to clinch but Jack slips to the side and Jack counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jack throws a chopping leg kick but Graf manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Jack cracks a nice hook into Graf's ribs. Jack misses with a wild body shot. Jack misses with a wild body shot. Jack wants to clinch. Chris Graf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jack takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jack has Graf up against the cage in a clinch.
Jack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jack throws a right and a left that both miss. Jack lands a nice hook to Graf's body. Graf takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Graf tries for a takedown but Jack circles away easily and Jack moves into the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Graf. That's going to take a lot out of him. Graf has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jack is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jack breaks from the clinch.

Jack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Graf takes a shot right to the bread basket. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Graf gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jack just misses with a punch to the body.
Graf throws a push kick but Jack slaps the foot to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Calico Jack dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Graf's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jack throws a low kick but it's checked well by Graf. Calico Jack seems to be getting the better of the standup. Graf with a poor takedown and Jack counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jack is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Graf rather than just go for the knockout. Graf tries to keep at a distance but Jack has taken the fight into the clinch. Jack leaning his opponent against the cage. Jack creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Graf's defenses. The referee calls for Jack to work.
Graf gets through Jack's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Graf goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Graf stalling in the clinch but Jack improves position. Graf misses with a hook from the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jack breaks from the clinch.
Graf shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Chris Graf's cut is getting worse. Jack has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Graf with a poor takedown and Jack counters with a straight right hand.

enabling Graf to counter with a crisp jab. Jack scores with a crisp jab that stopped Graf in his tracks. A decent looking cross lands there for Jack.
Chris Graf's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Jack lands a with a good body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jack has closed the distance and engaged Graf in a clinch.

A shot to de liver by Jack. Beautiful body shot. Jack misses with a low kick. Jack misses with a hook. Jack looks to score with a jab to the body but Graf is just out of range. Jack takes a swing at Graf's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jack moves away from the strike by Graf. Jack moves out of range as Graf strikes. Jack has taken the fight to the clinch.
A short body shot lands from Jack as the two fighters clinch.
Jack breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Graf takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jack buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jack catches Graf with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Graf takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jack throws out a loose jab but Graf uses good head movement to avoid it. Graf throws a predictable looking body shot
enabling Jack to counter with a crisp jab.
Jeez, Chris Graf's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Graf keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jack clobbers Graf with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chris Graf's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Calico Jack!
