Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randy Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Kelso! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelso fails with the takedown. Kelso shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kelso gets slowly back to his feet. Jackson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jackson keeping full guard, as Kelso tries to pass. Kelso sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Ground and pound from Kelso. Kelso maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Jackson could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Kelso has cracked it and Jackson is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Kelso!
