Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jonathan McCreadie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Stone! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from McCreadie. No joy for Stone on that attempt. Jonathan McCreadie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stone avoids the head kick by McCreadie.
Stone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. McCreadie tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Stone struggling to land strikes to the head as McCreadie covers up. I really don't envy McCreadie right now.
Stone throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. McCreadie looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone is not going to allow McCreadie to sit and survive in this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stone looking to sit in guard and control but McCreadie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. McCreadie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stone on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells McCreadie's corner. There ya go! There ya go! McCreadie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. McCreadie chips away with some ground and pound. McCreadie wants to get up but he can't break Stone's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Stone looking for a sweep. Not yet Stone, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stone looks gassed! McCreadie landing with the ground and pound. McCreadie postures up in Stone's guard and throws a big left but Stone blocks it. Stone keeping moving, preventing McCreadie from controlling successfully. Stone working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McCreadie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McCreadie manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. McCreadie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. McCreadie trying to control but Stone is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. McCreadie gets to his feet - Stone follows without any prompting. McCreadie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stone. Stone takes a jab right on the kisser.
McCreadie shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stone counters with an inside leg kick. No luck for Stone with that takedown attempt. Jonathan McCreadie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Stone. McCreadie works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McCreadie keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. McCreadie throws a right hand that Stone ducks under and follows up with a left that Stone also avoids with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Tyler Stone will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
McCreadie closes the distance and clinches. Stone takes a shot to the head. McCreadie lands a body punch in the clinch. McCreadie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone shoots in for a takedown but McCreadie shows good takedown defense. Stone thuds his shin into the meat of McCreadie's side. Stone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCreadie swivels and escapes. McCreadie with a lazy takedown attempt and Stone counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McCreadie's guard now. Stone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McCreadie is keeping the position for now. McCreadie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Stone looking to sit in guard and control but McCreadie gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. McCreadie has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Stone is proving hard to escape from. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCreadie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McCreadie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stone has his foot on McCreadie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McCreadie works his way back into a safe position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. McCreadie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. McCreadie sitting in guard here, content to control. Stone is trying to keep McCreadie in close.
Stone is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Stone keeping moving, preventing McCreadie from controlling successfully. Stone looking to control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. McCreadie comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. McCreadie scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
McCreadie tries for a takedown but Stone circles away easily and Stone counters by clinching up. A quick uppercut on the inside from McCreadie. Stone tries to pull guard but McCreadie holds him up against the cage and eventually Stone drops back down to his feet.
Jonathan McCreadie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Stone. Stone is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but McCreadie is keeping busy. McCreadie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McCreadie tries to clinch but Stone moves out of range. Stone shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McCreadie as he avoids it easily. McCreadie throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
McCreadie looks to land a combination but Stone avoids it well. Stone showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McCreadie.
Stone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stone lands in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone wants to control from the top but McCreadie keeps moving. Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but McCreadie is retaining full guard. McCreadie has his feet on Stone's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stone is defended easily by McCreadie. A right-left combo lands from McCreadie. Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. McCreadie is trying to get back to his feet but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tyler Stone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Stone shoots for a double leg takedown but McCreadie sprawls well. He's pushed Stone's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Stone shoots in looking for a takedown. McCreadie tries to sprawl out of it but Stone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCreadie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stone swats away the attempt to clinch by McCreadie. McCreadie rushes Stone and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McCreadie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stone shoots in for a takedown but McCreadie shows good takedown defense. Jonathan McCreadie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler Stone. McCreadie tries to clinch but Stone is having none of it. McCreadie misses with a series of wild punches.
McCreadie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stone on the side of the head. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Stone takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. McCreadie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. McCreadie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone tries to score a power double leg takedown but McCreadie sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stone somewhat. Stone doesn't succeed with the takedown letting McCreadie counter with a right hand. McCreadie stuffs the takedown. McCreadie throws a series of punches but Stone avoids them all with ease. McCreadie misses with a wild combination.
Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Stone working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. McCreadie is trying to stand up. Stone throws some wild stikes that McCreadie manages to avoid easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCreadie sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Stone is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Stone throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. McCreadie holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stone tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
McCreadie is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stone cracks McCreadie with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
McCreadie tries to buck Stone off but Stone takes his back! Stone trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
McCreadie has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Stone.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCreadie is trying to stand back up. McCreadie is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McCreadie just trying to survive but Stone is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Stone is hanging on to McCreadie's back as he tries to escape.
McCreadie covering up well under a barage of strikes. McCreadie is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Stone.
Jonathan McCreadie has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stone's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stone looking for the RNC.
