Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris P (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris P will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris P! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. P did well to prevent Daley getting side control. Daley misses with a head shot. P uses the momentum to regain guard. Daley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. P wants to stand but Daley is controlling the position. Daley thows a big elbow that misses. P is looking to stand up but Daley isn't so interested in that idea. P is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. P is trying to control the position but Daley postures up. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Daley gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Daley is breathing heavily. Daley takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Daley tries for a takedown but P sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. P lands with a slapping head kick. Daley throws a body punch but P moves out of range. Chris P seems to be getting the better of the standup. P throws a head kick but Daley moves out of range.
Daley takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Chris P is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. P throws a sloppy head kick and Daley moves out of range easily. P lands with a kick to the ribs.
P tries to clinch but Daley is having none of it. Daley tries for a takedown but P sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. P stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. P throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Daley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Paul Daley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. P tries to clinch but Daley is having none of it. P leaves Daley with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Chris P showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Daley shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts P as he jumps to the side. Daley fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but P avoids it really well and circles away. P is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Chris P seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Daley has P pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Daley pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending P tumbling to the mat - Daley dives into P's guard. Daley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. P looking for a sweep. Not yet P, not yet. Daley cracks P with a solid left hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daley preventing the sweep. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Daley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. P keeping moving, preventing Daley from controlling successfully. Daley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Daley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Daley throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A left lands for P. P lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. The fight stays on the outside here - Daley looks like he's thinking about clinching though. P pushes Daley away with a front kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Daley fails miserably with a takedown attempt. P throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Daley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but P swivels and escapes. Daley will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Daley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? P is fending him off so far but Daley persists. Nope, P circles away and we're back to standing. P throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Daley. Chris P is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. P displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Daley. P throws a head kick that Daley semi-blocks.
Both fighters circling a little - P finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Daley looks for a takedown but P sprawls well. P has closed the distance and engaged Daley in a clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Chris P comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got P winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
