Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Ransom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Carlos jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos jr has chosen Jarrid Mendelson - The Ultimate Fighter as his entrance music. Jose Carlos jr is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Carlos jr!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ransom fails to land the takedown.
Carlos jr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Carlos jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ransom sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carlos jr somewhat.
Dexter Ransom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ransom misses with a takedown
and Carlos jr counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Carlos jr is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carlos jr passes into half guard.
Carlos jr blocks the strikes from Ransom.
Carlos jr uses his free foot to push down on Ransom's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ransom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carlos jr has isolated one of Ransom's arms. Ransom looking to fight him off but Carlos jr twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
