Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Karl Afflis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arjay Murphy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy has chosen Feel the Rush as his entrance music. Arjay Murphy told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Karl Afflis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arjay Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy needs to keep his hands up - Afflis had a free shot at his head there.
Murphy drops Afflis with a big left hand and mounts him. Afflis is in big trouble!
Afflis is rocked!
It looks like Karl Afflis has been cut.
Murphy punching from mount but Afflis doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Oh Afflis is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Afflis wants to hold on but Murphy pushes him away.
Afflis is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Afflis is working hard here to advance position.
Afflis manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes.
Afflis seems to have got his legs back now.
Afflis is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Murphy is keen to just control but Afflis is a slippery customer.
Afflis has one foot on Murphy's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Afflis avoids the body shot from Murphy.
Afflis gets a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murphy pushes Afflis off looking to stand but Afflis dives back in and keeps control.
Afflis wants to pass the guard but Murphy is defending well.
Afflis stands up and beckons Murphy to join him on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murphy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Afflis.
Murphy lands with a straight right. Afflis didn't see that one coming.
Afflis bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Murphy comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Afflis falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Afflis was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arjay Murphy!
