Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pistol Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Nansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nansen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Enter The Dragon kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Pistol Robinson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jesse Nansen! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by Robinson - just one landing. Nansen clinches up with Robinson and pushes him back against the cage. Robinson blocks an elbow strike from Nansen.
Robinson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Nansen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Robinson throws a right hand that Nansen ducks under and follows up with a left that Nansen also avoids with ease. Robinson misses with a series of wild punches.
Robinson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nansen is fending him off so far but Robinson persists. Nope, Nansen circles away and we're back to standing. Robinson connects with a nice looking jab.
Robinson closes the distance looking to clinch and Nansen counters with a one-two to the body. Nansen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nansen scoring well with a low kick there.
Robinson misses with a takedown attempt and Nansen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Robinson! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pistol Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Robinson is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nansen looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. I looks like Nansen might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jesse Nansen just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nansen tries to clinch up. Robinson throws a predictable looking body shot
and Nansen counters with a big head kick but Robinson shrugs it off. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Robinson is defended easily by Nansen. Nansen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robinson as he jumps to the side. Robinson swats away the attempt to clinch by Nansen. Nansen moves into the clinch. Nansen manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Robinson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nansen dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Robinson misses with a takedown attempt and Nansen counters with a big head kick but Robinson shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nansen is looking to clinch. Nansen scores with a push kick. Nansen clinches with his opponent.
Nansen breaks the clinch.
Nansen wants to clinch up but Robinson keeps it at a distance. Nansen takes the fight into the clinch. Robinson is trying to break the clinch but Nansen is controlling him. Nansen's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Robinson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Nansen tries to close the distance and clinch but Robinson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nansen cracks a nice hook into Robinson's ribs. Nansen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Nansen has managed to clinch.
Nansen throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Nansen wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Robinson has him pressed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson prevents Nansen from breaking the clinch. Nansen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Nansen rushes Robinson and presses him up against the cage. Robinson goes for a takedown attempt but Nansen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nansen looks for the body kick but Robinson saw that one coming. Nansen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Robinson. That one must have hurt. Nansen scores with a push kick. Jab, jab by Nansen - just one landing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nansen throws a one two combo.
Robinson darts in trying to clinch and Nansen counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Nansen dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nansen shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Robinson is trying to defend but Nansen finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Nansen controlling the action here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nansen decides to return to a standing position. Robinson gets caught flat footed, as Nansen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Robinson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nansen seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Nansen preventing the sweep.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nansen gets to his feet. Robinson looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Nansen rushes Robinson and presses him up against the cage. Nansen manages to break the clinch.
Nansen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nansen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Nansen looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nansen tries to free his leg and advance position but Robinson is retaining full guard. Robinson trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nansen controlling from the top position. Let's hope that Nansen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Robinson pushes Nansen off and scrambles back to his feet.
Pistol Robinson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nansen fails with a takedown attempt. Nansen fakes the leg kick and cracks Robinson in the body. Robinson darts in trying to clinch and Nansen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Robinson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Robinson pushes Nansen off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nansen shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Nansen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Nansen pushing down on Robinson's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Robinson throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Robinson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nansen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Nansen is thwarting Robinson's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse Nansen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Robinson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Nansen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nansen showed some decent athleticism there. Nansen is looking for a kimura here.
Robinson has one foot on Nansen's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Robinson misses with a looping right. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Nansen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Robinson but Robinson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Robinson misses with a takedown attempt - Nansen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nansen ducks under a wild hook from Robinson. Nansen has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The fight moves into the clinch position. Nansen breaks the clinch.
A chopping leg kick lands by Nansen. Nansen fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Nansen makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nansen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nansen wants to clinch up but Robinson keeps it at a distance. Nansen moves into the clinch. Nansen wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nansen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Robinson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nansen just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Robinson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nansen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pistol Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nansen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Nansen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nansen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Robinson as he jumps to the side. Nansen tries a head kick but it misses.

Nansen lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Nansen. Nansen tries to clinch up. A decent looking cross lands there for Nansen. Nansen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nansen closes the distance looking to clinch and Robinson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nansen is working an open guard so Robinson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pistol Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Robinson walks into a straight right hand from Nansen. Nansen tries to clinch but Robinson is having none of it. Nansen fails with a takedown attempt. Robinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nansen swivels and escapes. Robinson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nansen lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nansen. Nansen is looking to take a break and control but Robinson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Robinson is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nansen working away. Robinson trying to remain calm as Nansen controls from the top position. Robinson is looking to regain half guard here but Nansen keeps moving and retains side control. Robinson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Nansen is controlling him well.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nansen. Nansen trying to control the action but Robinson is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse Nansen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nansen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
