Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between muuhamed ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terrance Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ali misses with a two punch combination.
ali looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Wright thuds his shin into the meat of ali's side.
Wright fails in his attempt to clinch.
Wright doesn't manage to clinch there - ali circles away.
ali really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wright fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wright shoots in but no luck this time.
ali closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wright did well to prevent ali getting side control.
Wright wants to improve his position but ali is controlling well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. ali lands a nice short elbow.

ali decides to stand up.
Wright goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Wright shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and ali counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wright's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

ali throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Wright counters with a nice double leg into side control. ali won't be happy with that.

Wright is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but ali is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
ali is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
ali is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with ali. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
ali tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
ali tries to reverse the position but Wright maintains control.

Wright thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
ali is wriggling around trying to escape.

and ali counters with a nice double leg into side control. Wright won't be happy with that.

ali sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wright is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
ali lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Wright trying to control but ali flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

ali doesn't have the hooks in and Wright manages to turn into his guard.
Wright must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
ali has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wright off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Wright feints and as ali raises his hands in defense, Wright changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wright drops back, looking for a kneebar! ali looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. ali looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from ali!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
ali wants to stand and escape but Wright is having none of it.
Wright is looking to stand up but ali won't let him.

Wright stuffs the takedown attempt from ali. ali gets slowly back to his feet.
Wright looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for ali!

ali is squirming around, avoiding Wright's attempts to control the action.
Wright is trying to control here but ali has managed to regain half guard.
ali is pressing down on Wright's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That was a close second round but I would say that muuhamed ali will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Wright closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming ali to the mat! ali manages to get full guard.
ali pushes Wright off and gets back to his feet.
Wright shoots and misses
and ali decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wright's guard.
ali decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

ali cracks Wright with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for ali, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
