Malone's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Amazing by Kanye West. Antonio Malone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bong shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Malone manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Malone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bong can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bong makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Malone escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bong gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Malone is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bong defends well.
Bong advances position into side control!
Malone might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bong just content to control the position.
Bong misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Bong is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Malone has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bong lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Bong really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Malone. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Bong misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Malone tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Malone takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Antonio Malone's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Antonio Malone's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
