Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joe Highend (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and simon yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highend gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Highend looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
yo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Highend wriggles free and stands up.
Highend fails with an attempt to clinch.
Highend doesn't succeed with the takedown
and yo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Highend's guard now.
Highend is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst yo is controlling him.
Highend looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! yo has picked Highend up and slammed him! Highend can't keep hold of the triangle and yo manages to pass to side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

simon yo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

I would just about give that final round to simon yo.
