Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Avon Stringer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Sun Shine!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shine stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Stringer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice shot by Stringer.
Shine misses with a few strikes there.
Stringer keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Stringer uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Stringer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shine sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stringer somewhat.

Stringer shoots in and bounces Shine off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Shine is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Stringer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Shine utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stringer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stringer stops Shine from standing up.
Stringer with a flurry of punches that miss.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Shine throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nice cross by Stringer.

A big left from Shine misses.
Stringer pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shine is out of range and Stringer settles back down.

Shine looks gassed!
Shine throws a head kick that misses.
Stringer digs a good hook to Shine's body.
Stringer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shine doesn't seem bothered though.

Stringer is looking to wear down Shine with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Stringer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shine stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Shine is still on wobbly legs! Can Stringer finish him?
Stringer connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Shine out cold! This one is over in a flash!
