Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ace Ileski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Mayfair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ileski comes into the arena with Justice - Genesis blaring out of the sound system. Charles Mayfair is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Charles Mayfair!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayfair thows a body kick. Ileski tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ileski throws a lazy body kick

and Mayfair counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Mayfair keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Let's hope that Mayfair has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Ileski tries to kick Mayfair off but Mayfair keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ileski trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Mayfair prevents Ileski from improving his position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Mayfair is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mayfair takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Mayfair is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Despite being in the dominant position, Charles Mayfair just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mayfair moves out of range of the body kick from Ileski.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mayfair is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mayfair lands with a thumping leg kick.

Mayfair looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Ileski!
Ileski is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
