Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicolai Vladimier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Focker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicolai Vladimier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Focker!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vladimier shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Vladimier wants to pass to mount but Focker is defending the position.
Focker is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Vladimier's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Vladimier's back!
You can see the frustration on Vladimier's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Vladimier rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Vladimier wants to improve his position but Focker is controlling well.
Focker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vladimier!

Vladimier is trying desperately to improve position.

Focker prevents Vladimier from getting the reversal.
Focker wants to control the pace but Vladimier is squirming around nicely.
Vladimier sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Vladimier has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Focker is working away from the top position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vladimier is looking to improve his position.
Vladimier is working hard here to advance position.
Vladimier is breathing heavily.
Focker with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Vladimier on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Focker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Vladimier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Focker takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Focker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vladimier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Vladimier tries to roll over but Focker keeps him under control.

Focker tries to stand but can't do so whilst Vladimier controls his leg.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Vladimier is looking to improve his position.
Focker is nestled in close to Vladimier, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Focker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Vladimier counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Vladimier closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vladimier lands in his opponent's guard.
Focker is looking to stand up but Vladimier isn't so interested in that idea.
Vladimier controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Vladimier is looking to work some ground and pound but Focker has wrist control.

Focker is in trouble now - Vladimier has advanced to mount!
Vladimier can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Focker is looking to escape.

Vladimier goes for an armbar but Focker turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Focker.

Vladimier has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Focker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Vladimier stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Vladimier shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Focker counters with a two punch combo.

Vladimier closes the distance and clinches.
Vladimier is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Focker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Focker avoiding damage as Vladimier throws knees to the body.
Vladimier fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nicolai Vladimier. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vladimier drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vladimier has Focker pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Focker manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Vladimier jumps guard but Focker stands there with Vladimier around his waist. Vladimier gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Vladimier goes for a takedown attempt but Focker pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

and Vladimier decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Focker's guard.
Vladimier prevents Focker from getting back to his feet.
Vladimier is stalling in the full guard.
Focker is looking to stand up but Vladimier isn't so interested in that idea.
Focker is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Focker pulls Vladimier in close to prevent any damage.
Focker trying to keep a closed guard but Vladimier is proving a slippery customer.

Focker wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Vladimier shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Focker as he avoids it easily.

and Vladimier counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Focker's guard now.

Vladimier pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Focker is keeping the position for now.

Vladimier looking to sit in guard and control but Focker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

That's time! Vladimier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Vladimier can't control as he wanted to and Focker manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Vladimier gets his hands free as Focker looks to control.

Focker is trying to defend against the choke here but Vladimier has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Vladimier Tightens the hold and Focker taps out furiously! Vladimier displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
