Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between HUSSAIN FAISAL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). FAISAL comes to the cage accompanied by rush. HUSSAIN FAISAL could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Vitor Belfort's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
FAISAL blocks a head kick by Belfort.

Belfort gets caught flat footed, as FAISAL shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

FAISAL drops back looking for a leg! Belfort is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Belfort manages to kick FAISAL off! FAISAL jumps back into Belfort's guard.

FAISAL cracks Belfort with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

FAISAL is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Belfort wants to control but FAISAL is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

FAISAL is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Belfort sees it coming and defends easily.

FAISAL is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Belfort defends it well.

FAISAL looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Belfort with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

HUSSAIN FAISAL overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
BOOM! FAISAL connects with a massive shot to the dome!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Belfort is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

FAISAL forces Belfort back against the cage and clinches.

Belfort is trying to work for a single leg takedown but FAISAL pulls him back up using the underhooks.

FAISAL turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and FAISAL manages to end up in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belfort tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Belfort manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Belfort swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and FAISAL is now in Belfort's guard. A big mistake from Belfort there, giving up the dominant position!

Belfort is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

FAISAL postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Belfort is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of FAISAL, into his guard.
Vitor Belfort has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
