Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William O Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Devlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devlin has chosen Monster as his entrance music. William O Leary has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William O Leary! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sean Devlin! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Devlin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as O Leary backs up against the cage.
O Leary fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Devlin is looking to clinch. O Leary avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
O Leary goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Sean Devlin has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! O Leary lands with a hook. Devlin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Devlin ducks straight into an uppercut from O Leary and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Devlin manages to regain guard straight away.
Devlin is rocked! O Leary is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Devlin is still in real trouble! Can O Leary finish him? O Leary throwing strikes from guard but Devlin blocks nicely. Devlin seems to have recovered his senses. O Leary chips away with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. O Leary looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Leary scoring with some ground and pound. O Leary is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. O Leary trying to control but Devlin is working from the bottom. O Leary throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Devlin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Devlin keeping moving, preventing O Leary from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. O Leary throwing strikes but missing. O Leary postures up and lands a big shot to Devlin's brow. Devlin wants to sweep here but O Leary controlling him for the moment. O Leary trying to control the position from guard on top but Devlin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Leary lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. O Leary postures up in Devlin's guard and throws a big left but Devlin blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Leary stopping the sweep attempt from Devlin. Devlin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as O Leary controls the pace. Devlin trying to control the position.
Devlin tries to land a sweep but no joy. Devlin has his hands on O Leary's head, controlling the position. O Leary has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. O Leary not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. O Leary content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. O Leary trying to control the position from guard on top but Devlin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. O Leary stays in close to Devlin's body and controls the position. O Leary content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Devlin trying to control the position.

William O Leary dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sean Devlin's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
O Leary catches Devlin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! O Leary throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Devlin tumbling to the canvas! O Leary showing good wrestling skills to control the position. O Leary loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. O Leary distracts Devlin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Devlin keeping moving, preventing O Leary from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. O Leary controls from within his opponent's guard.
The referee stands the fighters back up. William O Leary just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. O Leary scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. William O Leary is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Leary throws a right hand that Devlin ducks under and follows up with a left that Devlin also avoids with ease. It's a brutal combination of punches from O Leary! Devlin is backing up but he can't get away as O Leary lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Devlin and ends the fight. Great knockout.
