The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather Jr misses with the combination.
Mayweather Jr tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mayweather Jr drops Smith with a left and a right! Oh, Smith is hurt - Mayweather Jr dives into side control looking to finish!
Smith is rocked!
It looks like Steve Smith has been cut.
Smith is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mayweather Jr has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Smith is still in real trouble! Can Mayweather Jr finish him?
Mayweather Jr decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.

Smith dodges the punch combination from Mayweather Jr.
Mayweather Jr misses with a double jab.
Mayweather Jr misses with a series of wild punches.
Mayweather Jr connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Smith tumbling to the canvas! Mayweather Jr pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Smith was done - good stoppage!
