Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Robin Hood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamal Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Johnson to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Robin Hood has been cut.
Hood takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Hood gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Johnson postures up in Hood's guard and throws a big left but Hood blocks it.

Johnson paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Robin Hood's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Johnson closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Jeez, Robin Hood's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
