Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Gailfus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knarles Grunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Grunt's choice of entrance music: BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden". Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grunt lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Grunt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Grunt wants it to stay on the feet.

Gailfus shoots in looking for a takedown. Grunt tries to sprawl out of it but Gailfus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Grunt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grunt is taking a breather. Gailfus says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Grunt is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Gailfus is just riding it out for now. Grunt eventually gives up the hold.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Grunt in particular looking to stall.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Grunt cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Grunt goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gailfus is on top in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well Grunt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
