Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drake Combs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obadiah Jebadiah Ordway (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ordway has chosen Why Can't We Be Friends? as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Ordway or perhaps it was just good defense by Combs which made him look bad.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Combs.
Combs trying to control the position but Ordway is working away.
Combs looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Ordway is trying to control Combs's posture but Combs avoids it.
Combs lands a decent elbow from side control.
Ordway is trying to improve his position.
Combs has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Ordway doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Combs counters with a single leg into guard. Ordway didn't expect that.
Ordway looking to hit a scissor sweep but Combs is one step ahead there.

Ordway looking for a guillotine here but Combs defends easily.
Combs is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Ordway looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Combs passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Combs tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Combs has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Ordway regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ordway is refusing to be controlled, as Combs sits in half guard.
Combs escapes and gets back to his feet.
Ordway keeps the fight on the outside.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ordway crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Combs - the referee stops the clock and Ordway gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Combs. Ordway manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ordway keeps the fight on the outside.
Combs avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ordway tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Combs counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Ordway!
Ordway wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Combs.
Poor strikes thrown by Combs there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Combs stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Drake Combs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Obadiah Jebadiah Ordway.
Combs is breathing heavily.

Combs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ordway is keeping the position for now.

Combs is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ordway sees it coming and defends easily.
Ordway wants to get back to his feet.
Ordway is staying active underneath Combs, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ordway tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Combs has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Combs wants to control the pace but Ordway is squirming around nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Combs looking for a guillotine from mount but Ordway is having none of it.
Ordway sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Combs prevents Ordway from improving his position.
Ordway is looking to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Combs is keen to just control but Ordway is a slippery customer.
Combs stalling.
Combs trying to control from half guard but Ordway is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drake Combs dominated that round.

Ordway tries to clinch up.

Ordway looks to clinch
and Combs counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ordway won't be happy with that.
Combs throws an elbow but Ordway slips to the side and avoids it well.
Combs decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ordway to his feet.
Obadiah Jebadiah Ordway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Combs scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Combs has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ordway defend it? Combs steps over the head and cranks it - Ordway is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Combs!
