The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hill throws a hook to the side of Thompson's head but Thompson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Thompson moves in looking to clinch but Hill pushes him off.

Hill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Hill counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hill throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Thompson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hill misses with a looping left.

Hill is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Thompson's half guard.

Hill is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Thompson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Hill is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Thompson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Hill's back instead.
Hill wants to control his opponent's hands but Thompson gets his hands free.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hill is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Thompson is staying active.

Despite being in the dominant position, Stephen Hill just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hill swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Hill makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
