Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ville Horror (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Hinh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horror lands with a nice combination. Hinh backs away looking to recover.


It looks like Dennis Hinh has been cut.
Horror throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Horror works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Hinh shoots in and drives through. Horror sprawls well.

Horror closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ville Horror has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Hinh.

Ville Horror seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hinh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Horror looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hinh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Hinh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Horror knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hinh stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Horror lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Horror throws a right hand that Hinh ducks under and follows up with a left that Hinh also avoids with ease.
Horror scores with a sloppy right hand. Hinh should have avoided that one.
Hinh tries to score a power double leg takedown but Horror sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hinh somewhat.

Hinh keeps the fight on the outside.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Horror. Hinh shrugs it off though.

Hinh is trying hard to land a takedown here. Horror sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hinh has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Horror finds it's way round the side to connect with Hinh's head.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Horror is trying to force a seperation but Hinh has the dominant position.

Hinh comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Horror throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Hinh looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Horror is fending him off so far but Hinh persists. Nope, Horror circles away and we're back to standing.
A combination from Horror does no damage.
Horror lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hinh circles away quickly and effectively.
Horror fails in his attempt to clinch.

Hinh closes the distance and pushes Horror back into the cage.
Hinh creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Horror's defenses.
Horror gets underhooks to prevent Hinh's takedown attempt.
Horror is trying to break free.
Hinh stalls.

Come on Hinh - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hinh is pressed up against the cage. Horror has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hinh down to the mat. Hinh avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Hinh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Horror won't be happy with that.
The referee asks Hinh politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hinh prefers to stall for the moment though.

Hinh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Hinh throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Horror's waist but Horror gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hinh off to one side.

Horror knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hinh on the ground.

Hinh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Horror kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Horror looks to throw a body kick

and Hinh holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Horror is trying to force a seperation but Hinh has the dominant position.
Hinh keeps control of Horror as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Hinh works on Horror's body with a couple of short punches.
Hinh tries to score a body lock takedown but Horror shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Hinh drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Horror gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hinh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Horror ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hinh moves away.
Hinh shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Horror but Horror pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Horror closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hinh tries to buck Horror off but Horror is having none of it.
Horror wants to stand but Hinh has his arm trapped.
Hinh is trying to control Horror's posture but Horror avoids it.
Hinh is looking to regain half guard here but Horror keeps moving and retains side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ville Horror.
I think Horror has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
