Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Latka Gravas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gijs Groosman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Latka Gravas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gijs Groosman! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Groosman throws a shot from downtown. Gravas moves away and avoids it. Groosman lands with a straight right. Gravas didn't see that one coming. Groosman throws the left hand but Gravas avoids the punch easily. Groosman slaps away a takedown attempt from Gravas, before circling back to the center of the mat. Gravas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Groosman was covering up waiting for the punch and Gravas finishes the takedown easily into guard. Gravas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Groosman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gravas, into his guard. Groosman stopping the sweep attempt from Gravas. Groosman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Groosman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gravas tries to land a sweep but no joy. Gravas is working hard here to advance position. Groosman working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gravas's head. Groosman won't allow Gravas to sweep him here. Groosman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gravas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Groosman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Gravas pulls his head out easily. Groosman manages to get to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gravas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gravas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Groosman has his feet on Gravas's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Groosman gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Groosman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gravas is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gravas working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Groosman looking for a sweep. Not yet Groosman, not yet. Gravas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Groosman has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gravas has managed to get both his arms back between Groosman's legs - danger averted. Groosman looks gassed! Gravas tries to free his leg and advance position but Groosman is retaining full guard. Groosman working a defensive guard here.
Gravas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Groosman avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Groosman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Groosman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gravas's guard. Gravas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Groosman! Gravas is going olschool here, as he tries to force Groosman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Groosman shrugs it off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Groosman is looking to improve his position but Gravas isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by Gravas there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Groosman has left one of his arms exposed and Gravas doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Groosman screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
