Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Kelso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kelso comes into a darkened arena with his song building. That 70's Show Theme Music kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rodrigo Oliveira! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kelso! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kelso wants to clinch. Oliveira lands a slapping body shot.
Kelso swats away the attempt to clinch by Oliveira. Kelso instigates a clinch. Still in the clinch, Kelso scores with a nice short uppercut. Oliveira taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Oliveira is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kelso gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kelso is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Oliveira blocks an uppercut.
Kelso working some nice short punches in the clinch. Kelso escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kelso fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Oliveira, pushing him back against the cage. Kelso lands a right hand that snaps the head of Oliveira backwards. Kelso lands with a short shot to the head. Still in the clinch, Kelso scores with a nice short uppercut. Oliveira wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A nice right hand lands inside from Kelso. Oliveira tries to land knees in the clinch but Kelso avoids the damage to the body. Oliveira tries to pull guard but Kelso holds him up against the cage and eventually Oliveira drops back down to his feet.
Kelso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kelso rushes Oliveira and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Oliveira working hard to break the clinch. Kelso softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Oliveira tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodrigo Oliveira. That's going to take a lot out of him. A nice right hand lands inside from Kelso. Kelso trying to stall but Oliveira improves his position.
Oliveira can't break the clinch.
Kelso taking a breather. Oliveira takes a shot to the head.
Oliveira is rocked! Kelso taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Kelso has Oliveira pressed against the cage, preventing Oliveira from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Oliveira wants to break free but Kelso has control.
Oliveira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kelso is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. A short right from Kelso. Oh Oliveira is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A short uppercut from Kelso. Kelso lands a big right hand that drops Oliveira! The killer instinct kicks in and Kelso finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Kelso!
