Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sandy Griffler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes into the arena with Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sandy Griffler! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Castle throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Griffler bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Griffler tries to advance to mount but can't. Griffler takes a little break here. Castle wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Griffler sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Castle is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Griffler working the ground and pound but Castle is defending the strikes. Griffler works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Griffler working away. Castle is trying to improve his position. Castle sneaks back into half guard. Griffler lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Castle avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Griffler. Castle blocking the ground and pound attempt from Griffler. Griffler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Castle fakes the leg kick and cracks Griffler in the body. That's two minutes gone in the round. Griffler takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Griffler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Castle ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Castle displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. No joy there for Castle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Castle takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Griffler breaks from Castle's wrist control and lands an elbow. Griffler looking to control but Castle is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Castle tries to reverse the position but Griffler maintains control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castle takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Griffler looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nick Castle will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Sandy Griffler's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Castle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Griffler circles away quickly and effectively. Castle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Castle keeps the fight on the outside. Castle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Castle rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Griffler moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Castle throws a series of punches but Griffler avoids them all with ease.

Griffler trying to control the action but Castle is working from the bottom. Castle has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Griffler is working away from the top position though.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Griffler ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sandy Griffler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Sandy Griffler's cut. That's time! Castle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Griffler. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Griffler thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Castle struggling a bit here. Griffler working the ground and pound from side control.

Griffler tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Griffler looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Castle can't do much from the bottom here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Castle taking punishment in the form of punches.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Griffler shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Griffler goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Castle is on top in guard.
Griffler wants to sweep here but Castle controlling him for the moment. Castle controls from within his opponent's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Sandy Griffler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Griffler has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
