Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamal Hudak! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angelosante fails with a takedown attempt. Angelosante fails with a takedown attempt. Angelosante shoots for a takedown but Hudak saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Trey Angelosante. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hudak keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hudak closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. You can see the frustration on Angelosante's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hudak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Angelosante has escaped the position, nice work there. Hudak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hudak is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Angelosante is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hudak tries to advance to mount but can't. Hudak is trying to get an arm triangle but Angelosante is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hudak wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Angelosante, who protects the arm well. Hudak looks gassed! Angelosante pushes Hudak away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hudak gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Angelosante can't do much from the bottom here. Hudak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Angelosante has escaped the position, nice work there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angelosante pushes Hudak away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hudak gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hudak is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Angelosante has escaped the position, nice work there. Angelosante struggling a bit here. Hudak postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Angelosante keeping his opponent close. Hudak working the ground and pound but Angelosante is defending the strikes. Hudak working away. Hudak works to advance to full mount. Angelosante defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Hudak looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Angelosante wants to control but Hudak is having none of it. Angelosante is looking to improve his position but Hudak isn't that keen on the idea. Hudak lands a nice shot to the head. Hudak trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hudak avoids the attempt from Angelosante to control. Hudak should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hudak is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Angelosante can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hudak lands a nice shot to the head. Angelosante trying desperately to get to his feet.
Hudak working away from the top, dropping strikes. Angelosante tries to hold on but Hudak pushes him away. Hudak looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Hudak avoids the attempt from Angelosante to control. Hudak is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Angelosante is surviving well by controlling Hudak's body position as best he can. Angelosante wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hudak working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Angelosante looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hudak! Submission of the night perhaps?
