Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viktor Kabal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ordinary story. Trent Burton has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trent Burton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Viktor Kabal! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kabal misses with a double jab.
Kabal swinging wilding here.
Kabal tries to bum rush Burton with a series of wild strikes but Burton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kabal just misses with a punch to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Kabal misses the target. Kabal looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kabal sends Burton crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kabal is motioning to the referee to let Burton up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Trent Burton has been cut. Some wild striking there from Kabal.
Kabal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kabal throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Burton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kabal.
Burton is looking to clinch. Kabal throws a right and a left that Burton avoids nicely. Kabal lands an overhand right. Burton tries to close the distance and clinch but Kabal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burton gets the takedown into side control. Kabal looks gassed! Burton advances nicely into full mount. Burton goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Kabal is on top in guard.
Kabal wants to control from the top but Burton keeps moving. Burton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kabal is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Burton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kabal's back instead. Kabal is in a bad position with Burton working for a choke. Kabal manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment. Kabal must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kabal tries to free his leg and advance position but Burton is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kabal trying to control the position from guard on top but Burton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kabal gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Burton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Burton keeping moving, preventing Kabal from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kabal is stalling in the full guard. Burton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burton can't keep his opponent in guard - Kabal advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Burton is trying to maintain the position but Kabal is very close to passing his half guard. Kabal looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Burton looking for submissions off his back. Kabal looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Burton is not content to let Kabal control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kabal content to control rather than advance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kabal feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Burton sprawling to the canvas! Burton rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kabal finish him?!
Burton is rocked! Kabal connects with a nice cross there... Burton is looking wobbly and Kabal recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Burton to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Kabal jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Viktor Kabal!
