PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perrin Aybara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Aybara might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Skinny Puppy Protest. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aybara is looking to clinch but Hall is avoiding it.
Aybara drops his hands momentarily and Hall takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Aybara looks for a takedown but Hall sprawls well.
Aybara dodges the punch combination from Hall.
Aybara throws the kick towards the body but Hall avoids it.
Hall throws a nice looking combination but Aybara bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aybara shoots in for a double leg but Hall sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Aybara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hall wants it to stay on the feet.

Aybara shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Aybara was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Hall is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Aybara is breathing heavily.
Hall holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Aybara tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Hall has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Hall is trying to get back to his feet. He's worked up on to his knees and now he's on his feet with his head on the canvas, trying to shake Aybara off. It looks like it's working - Aybara slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Hall displaying calm under pressure there.
Aybara shoots in for a takedown but Hall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Aybara changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hall tries to avoid it but Aybara manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hall to the ground. Hall escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aybara takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hall swats away the attempt to clinch by Aybara.

Hall connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Aybara is rocked!

Hall is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Aybara flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Aybara is out cold! Hall holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
