Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Silva Mencheres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piyapwn Chakwow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piyapwn Chakwow will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Silva Mencheres! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Piyapwn Chakwow! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chakwow takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mencheres tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Chakwow connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Mencheres closes the distance and clinches up with Chakwow, looking for a takedown. Mencheres pushes Chakwow against the cage but Chakwow circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mencheres tries to stall but Chakwow uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Mencheres gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Chakwow regains guard.
Mencheres decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Chakwow moves in looking to clinch but Mencheres pushes him off. Mencheres avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mencheres closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mencheres lands in his opponent's guard. Mencheres slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Chakwow wants to stand up but Mencheres is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chakwow is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Mencheres is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Mencheres gets to his feet - Chakwow follows without any prompting. Mencheres avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mencheres clinches up against the cage. Chakwow utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Mencheres is breathing heavily. Chakwow lands a knee to the body.
Chakwow lands an elbow that stopped Mencheres in his tracks for a moment. Chakwow manages to break the clinch.
Chakwow tries to clinch and Mencheres counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chakwow is trying to stand up here but Mencheres is controlling him well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mencheres is looking to take a break and control but Chakwow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Chakwow tries to kick Mencheres off but Mencheres keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Still in half guard, Mencheres seems content to control. Mencheres passes the guard and advances to mount! Mencheres sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Chakwow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mencheres. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mencheres working the ground and pound effectively.
Mencheres dominating with strikes here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mencheres is standing up, even though he is in mount. Piyapwn Chakwow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mencheres bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Mencheres stands up and we're back to a striking position. Chakwow tries to clinch but Mencheres is having none of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mencheres lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Chakwow circles away quickly and effectively. Mencheres scores with a takedown into Chakwow's guard. Mencheres passes easily into side control. Nice work. Chakwow being controlled for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Silva Mencheres dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chakwow gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Silva Mencheres overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mencheres passes Chakwow's left leg - he's now in half guard. Mencheres working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Mencheres takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Chakwow is breathing heavily. Chakwow tries to kick Mencheres off in order to stand up. Mencheres Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mencheres slows the pace down. Mencheres working the ground and pound from side control. Mencheres lands an elbow. Mencheres taking a breather here. Mencheres has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Chakwow is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mencheres yanks on the arm and Chakwow is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mencheres.
