PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dill Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Gullich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe comes to the cage accompanied by Memories. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dill Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wolfgang Gullich!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe is looking to clinch.
Doe motions for Gullich to come forward. Doe throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Gullich throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Doe was covering up waiting for the punch and Gullich finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gullich wants to pass the guard but Doe is keeping the position.

Gullich has control of Doe's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Doe regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Gullich is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Doe has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Doe!
Doe has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gullich is proving hard to escape from.

Gullich working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wolfgang Gullich showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
