Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rumina Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Song with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Endo closes this distance looking for a takedown but Song circles away.
Endo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Song pinned against the cage. Song gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Song rushes Endo and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Song breaks from the clinch.
Endo shoots in for a takedown but Song shows good takedown defense.
Billy Song has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rumina Endo.
Song misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Song stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Endo swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Endo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Song doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Song manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Song has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Endo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Song landing rabbit punches to the side of Endo's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Endo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Song looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Song sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Song is trying to control but can't.
Song tries to roll over but Endo keeps him under control.
Song misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Endo is trying to work for a kimura but Song is defending well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Endo wants to control but Song is having none of it.
Song wants to control the pace but Endo is squirming around nicely.
Endo is desperately trying to improve his position but Song has a good base and remains in mount.
Song manages to capitalize on a mistake by Endo to take his back!
You can see the frustration on Endo's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Song doesn't have the hooks in and Endo manages to turn into his guard.
Endo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Song swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Song counters with a body kick that stops Endo in his tracks momentarily.

Song tries to close the distance and clinch up but Endo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Endo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Endo has an Americana. Song didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Endo is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Endo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
