Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pie is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Duudi's half guard.
pie misses with a head shot. Duudi uses the momentum to regain guard.
Duudi manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. pie manages to get himself to full guard.
pie has Duudi pulled in close to control his posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Duudi thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Duudi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from pie.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
pie has taken the fight to the clinch.
pie goes for a takedown in the clinch but Duudi prevents it.

Duudi turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Duudi manages to end up in side control.
pie really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Duudi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. pie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Duudi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Duudi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Duudi misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Duudi tries to score with some ground and pound. pie controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Duudi has worked his way into a potential kimura here. pie is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Duudi yanks on the arm and pie is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Duudi.
