The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bill lands a nice shot that snaps Silva's head back.
Silva shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bill manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Bill tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silva wants to control from the top but Bill keeps moving.
Bill has control of Silva's left arm, preventing Silva from doing any damage.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Bill looking for a guillotine here but Silva defends easily.
Bill manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Bill controlling the pace for now.
I looks like Bill might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Bill breaks from Silva's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Bill wants to control the pace but Silva is squirming around nicely.
Silva has left one of his arms exposed and Bill doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Silva screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
