Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Tierg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Austin's corner calls for a 1-2. Austin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Tierg misses with a wild combination.

Austin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Tierg is trying to defend but Austin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Austin wants to stand up but Tierg has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Tierg could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Still in half guard, Austin seems content to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tierg wants to control but Austin is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Austin takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Austin counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

The fight stays on the outside here - Tierg looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Austin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Austin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
