Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bart Simpson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson McMillan!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McMillan moves forwards but Simpson connects with a nice, crisp jab.
McMillan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Simpson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McMillan takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Simpson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McMillan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McMillan shoots in for a takedown but Simpson shows good takedown defense.
Simpson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McMillan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bart Simpson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson McMillan.
Simpson throws a head kick that misses.
Simpson moves in looking to clinch but McMillan pushes him off.
Simpson looks to land a combination but McMillan avoids it well.
Simpson thows a body shot but no joy.
Simpson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McMillan on the side of the head.
McMillan is rocked!
Simpson drops McMillan with a straight right hand, right on the button! Simpson follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bart Simpson!
