Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luc Devereux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Poison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devereux comes to the cage accompanied by Bolt Thrower - At First Light. The crowd seem to be enjoying Poison's choice of entrance music: Kanye West - Amazing. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poison tries to close the distance and clinch but Devereux swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Poison moves in looking to clinch but Devereux pushes him off.

Poison darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Poison wants to lay and pray for a moment but Devereux keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Devereux closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Poison stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Devereux swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Luc Devereux will probably get the nod.

Devereux throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Poison was covering up waiting for the punch and Devereux finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Poison is trying to control the position but Devereux postures up.
Poison is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Devereux wants to get up but he can't break Poison's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Poison utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Devereux controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Devereux changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Poison tries to avoid it but Devereux manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Poison to the ground. Poison escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Phil Poison.
