Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Devon Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Reed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Devon Wilson! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed throws a head kick but Wilson moves out of range.
Reed tries to clinch up but Wilson circles away and keeps his distance. Reed looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Wilson lands with a slapping head kick. Reed tries to clinch up but Wilson circles away and keeps his distance. Horrible takedown by Wilson or perhaps it was just good defense by Reed which made him look bad. Wilson shoots in but Reed avoids the takedown attempt easily. Reed wants to clinch up but Wilson keeps it at a distance. Wilson has a takedown stuffed. Reed thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Wilson prevents Reed from moving into mount. Wilson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reed wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wilson manages to get back to half guard. Reed wants to stand up but Wilson is controlling the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wilson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are battling for position here. Wilson manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wilson looks gassed! Wilson has his foot on Reed's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reed works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wilson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Reed manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Reed is trying to maintain the position but Wilson is very close to passing his half guard. Reed is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Wilson trying to work for an americana but Reed has managed to regain full guard.
Wilson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Reed manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Wilson has Reed in his guard. Reed stopping the sweep attempt from Wilson. Wilson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Reed controls the pace of the fight for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dean Reed will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Reed throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Wilson tries for a takedown but Reed circles away easily and Reed counters with a nice double leg into guard. Reed controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Reed passes Wilson's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Reed wants to pass the guard but Wilson is defending well. Wilson is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Reed pulls his head out easily. Wilson looking for submissions off his back. Reed perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Reed throws a head kick that misses so Wilson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Wilson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reed's guard. Reed pushes Wilson off looking to stand but Wilson dives back in and keeps control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dean Reed will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Reed tries to clinch but Wilson moves away and Wilson moves into the clinch. Reed is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Wilson can't fight it off and eventually Reed manages to take the fight to the floor. Wilson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wilson is on top in guard.
Reed seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Wilson passes easily into side control. Nice work. Reed struggling a bit here. Wilson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Reed is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Wilson trying to control the position but Reed is working away. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reed has control of an arm but Wilson manages to advance to Wilson's back! Wilson tightening his grip on Reed, looking for the choke. Wilson is not going to allow Reed to sit and survive in this position. Wilson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Reed knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Reed for a finish. Reed holding on to Wilson's left wrist, preventing the choke. Wilson working for a choke but Reed is defending well.

Wilson looking for a sweep. Not yet Wilson, not yet. Reed tries to stand but Wilson is controlling from the bottom. Wilson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wilson wants to control from the top but Reed keeps moving. Devon Wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Reed gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wilson counters with a right hand to the body. Reed shoots in but Wilson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nice shot lands for Wilson. Wilson scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
