Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Phoenix is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Duudi's half guard.
Phoenix is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Duudi keeping moving, preventing Phoenix from controlling successfully.
Duudi trying to keep a closed guard but Phoenix is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Duudi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Phoenix trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Duudi manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Duudi won't allow Phoenix to get back to his feet.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Duudi is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Phoenix sees it coming and defends easily.

Duudi has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Phoenix defend it? Duudi steps over the head and cranks it - Phoenix is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Duudi!
