The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a combination. Marcurius tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
A jab from Silva does it's job there.
Marcurius takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Marcurius is looking to take a break and control but Silva is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marcurius.
Silva tries to clinch up but Marcurius circles away and keeps his distance.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marcurius circles away quickly and effectively.
A jab from Silva finds it's way through Marcurius's defenses.
Silva cracks Marcurius with a right hand to the side of the head.

Silva lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Marcurius can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silva and Marcurius drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silva.
