Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwayne Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Haggis McKiltypants!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson tries a head kick but it misses.
McKiltypants fails in his attempt to clinch.
Johnson wants to clinch but McKiltypants slips to the side
and McKiltypants counters with a lovely straight right hand!
McKiltypants shoots in but no luck this time.
Johnson closes the distance but McKiltypants moves to the side

and McKiltypants counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McKiltypants won't allow Johnson to get back to his feet.
McKiltypants wants to stand but Johnson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
McKiltypants prevents Johnson from getting back to his feet.
McKiltypants has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Johnson is proving hard to escape from.
McKiltypants tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
McKiltypants seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Johnson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Johnson tries to clinch but McKiltypants moves away
and McKiltypants counters with a head kick. That will keep Johnson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
McKiltypants misses with a low kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McKiltypants.
Johnson sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks McKiltypants to the ground! Johnson dives into full mount looking to finish!


McKiltypants is rocked!


It looks like Haggis McKiltypants has been cut.

Johnson is standing up, even though he is in mount.
McKiltypants is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and McKiltypants counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
McKiltypants throws a right and a left that Johnson avoids nicely.
Johnson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
McKiltypants seems to have recovered his senses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Johnson closes the distance looking to clinch
and McKiltypants counters with a stiff right hand.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and McKiltypants moves out of range easily.
Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt
and Johnson counters with a thumping low kick.
Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
McKiltypants looks gassed!
McKiltypants tries to clinch up
and Johnson counters with a solid body kick.
McKiltypants fails with the takedown.
Dwayne Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haggis McKiltypants.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Johnson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Johnson throws an elbow that misses.
McKiltypants wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McKiltypants takes an elbow to the temple.
With the fighters up against the cage, Johnson throws an elbow but misses.
McKiltypants tries to break the clinch but Johnson is controlling the position.
McKiltypants dodges an elbow strike from Johnson.

McKiltypants pulls guard successfully.

McKiltypants is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Johnson rolls with it to try and escape but McKiltypants cranks on the arm and Johnson is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
