Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dai Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coby Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machida's entrance music is Do The Ayatollah. A fine choice. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Dai Machida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Coby Castro! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machida shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Machida showed some decent athleticism there. Machida not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Machida wants to free his trapped foot but Castro is holding on for dear life with his legs. Machida prevents Castro from improving his position. Castro blocking the ground and pound attempt from Machida. Machida wants to pass to mount but Castro is defending the position. Machida scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Machida is trying to control. Castro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Castro keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Machida is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Castro is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machida is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Castro is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Castro has escaped and now he's on top! Machida bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Castro's guard. Castro throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Machida tries to free his leg and advance position but Castro is retaining full guard. Castro utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Machida advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Machida not landing any meaningful shots this time. Machida is trying to control. Castro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Castro looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Machida tries to pass the half guard into mount. Castro knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Machida lands strikes from half guard. Machida working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Castro regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Machida. Machida postures up in Castro's guard and throws a big left but Castro blocks it. Machida throws and elbow that misses. Castro uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Machida's guard. Nice move by Castro! Machida pulls Castro in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machida has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Castro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Castro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Machida is looking for a triangle here but Castro uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Machida is breathing heavily. Machida manages to work his way to half guard, despite Castro's best efforts. Castro in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Machida tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Castro!
