Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carraig o Cathain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryouta Tsukuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o Cathain 's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, U2 - Pride. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

o Cathain gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
o Cathain bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tsukuda's guard.

o Cathain is pushing down on Tsukuda's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tsukuda is fighting to maintain full guard but o Cathain has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tsukuda moves into full guard.
o Cathain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tsukuda swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Tsukuda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but o Cathain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tsukuda lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for o Cathain !

That was a close round but I would say that Carraig o Cathain will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Tsukuda lands a head kick. o Cathain smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Carraig o Cathain has been cut.
Tsukuda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but o Cathain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A left and a right from o Cathain both land. Nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

o Cathain is going olschool here, as he tries to force Tsukuda to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Tsukuda shrugs it off.
