Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lancett Cridle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiny Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cridle comes to the cage accompanied by Counterfeit by Limp Bizkit. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cridle shoots in and drives through. Johnson sprawls well.

Cridle scores with a takedown into Johnson's guard.
Cridle pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Johnson is keeping the position for now.
Johnson is trying to control the position but Cridle postures up.
Johnson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cridle kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Cridle wants to take his opponent's back but Johnson doesn't allow it.

Cridle jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Johnson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Johnson and Cridle has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Johnson manages to get back to half guard.
Cridle thows a huge punch but Johnson dodges it nicely.

Cridle wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cridle blocks a head kick by Johnson.
Cridle shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lancett Cridle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cridle shoots in looking for a takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl out of it but Cridle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Johnson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A punch combination from Cridle misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Cridle closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnson to the mat! Johnson manages to get full guard.
Cridle tries to free his leg and advance position but Johnson is retaining full guard.
Cridle pushes down on Johnson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Cridle is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Johnson has managed to free his arm - good work.

Cridle is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well.
Cridle working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Johnson's thigh. Johnson counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Cridle forces his way into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lancett Cridle dominated that round.
That's time! Cridle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Cridle has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Johnson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Cridle.

Johnson decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Cridle looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Cridle throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Johnson works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Cridle is just out of range.
Lancett Cridle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Johnson won't allow Cridle to sweep him here.

Cridle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cridle displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Johnson throws out the jab.

Cridle is looking to improve his position but Johnson isn't that keen on the idea.

Cridle is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Johnson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Johnson's back!

Lancett Cridle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Cridle is looking for the choke from the back position but Johnson is controlling his hands well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lancett Cridle will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Johnson works over Cridle's head and body with a nice combination.

Cridle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Johnson.

Cridle has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.

Cridle had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Johnson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Cridle Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Johnson's back instead.
Johnson tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Cridle working for a guillotine from mount but Johnson is in no mood to give up.

Cridle is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Johnson has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Cridle quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Cridle but it's paid off an Johnson is forced to tap! Nice work by Cridle.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lancett Cridle!
