Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meho Sirovica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sirovica comes into the arena with last mohacian blaring out of the sound system. Belfort has chosen Du Hast as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bas Belfort!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sirovica on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Belfort is looking to land body kicks.
Sirovica tries for a takedown but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Belfort misses with a head kick.
Belfort moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Belfort misses with a head kick.
Sirovica takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Meho Sirovica has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Belfort pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Belfort lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Belfort walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sirovica checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Bas Belfort seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort tries to land a front kick but Sirovica steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Belfort! Sirovica is out on his feet! Belfort rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sirovica is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sirovica is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bas Belfort!
