Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Victor Le (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Le comes to the cage accompanied by Sweep the Leg. Jackson Smith is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Victor Le! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Smith! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Le throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Left hook, right uppercut from Le.
It looks like Jackson Smith has been cut. Le looks to land a left hand but Smith moved out of range nicely. Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot. Le is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith. Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Le.
Smith takes a jab right on the kisser.
Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Le's half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Smith is looking for a kimura here.
Le tries to kick Smith off but Smith keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Le trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Le really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Le does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Le is looking to escape.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Le throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Smith. Le goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Le misses with a series of wild punches.
The fighters circle momentarily. Le darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Smith ducks right into an uppercut from Le. Le is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Le displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith. Smith moves out of range as Le strikes. Smith gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Le fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Smith fails with the takedown. Le lands a right hook to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Le connects with a good right hand that stumbles Smith. Smith circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Smith keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Le.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but Le sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Victor Le has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jackson Smith. Le fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Le is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Le works over Smith's head and body with a nice combination. Smith looks gassed! Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Le throws a series of strikes that have Smith backpedaling.
Le misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Smith.
Le throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A jab-cross combination lands for Le and sends Smith crashing to the mat! Le follows him down to the mat - Smith regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Smith is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Le throws a strike but Smith avoids it easily and moves to full guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Le accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Le stands up from Smith's guard - Le perhaps looking for a knockout. Le is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Le lands a two punch combo.
Smith dodges the punch combination from Le.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Le throws out the jab. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Smith throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Le sees it coming and avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Victor Le dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jackson Smith's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Smith on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Le finish him? Victor Le seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Le misses with a jab, cross combination.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses. Le scores with a body shot.
Le lands a jab to the nose. Victor Le is winning the standup battle so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Le lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Smith can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Le and Smith drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Le.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Victor Le!
