Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Parrot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiberias Rockefellor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockefellor has chosen Stand Alone as his entrance music. Tiberias Rockefellor is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tiberias Rockefellor! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parrot misses with a hook. Rockefellor ducked under it nicely. Parrot bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Rockefellor struggling a bit here. Parrot scoring with punches from side control. You can see the frustration on Rockefellor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Parrot is looking to take a break and control but Rockefellor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Rockefellor defending against the ground and pound. Rockefellor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Parrot tries to roll over but Rockefellor keeps him under control. Rockefellor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parrot keeps working. Parrot is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rockefellor is trying to control Parrot's posture but Parrot avoids it. Rockefellor misses with a strike from the bottom. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Parrot throws a leg kick but Rockefellor moved away. Parrot throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rockefellor was covering up waiting for the punch and Parrot finishes the takedown easily into guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Parrot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rockefellor pulls Parrot in close to prevent any damage. Let's hope that Rockefellor has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rockefellor looking to control.

Parrot closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Rockefellor is trying to control Parrot's posture but Parrot avoids it. Parrot thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. Parrot shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Parrot not landing any meaningful shots this time. Parrot is nestled in close to Rockefellor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Parrot wants to free his trapped foot but Rockefellor is holding on for dear life with his legs. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Rockefellor holds on and takes a little breather. Mike Parrot is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Rockefellor working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parrot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parrot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Parrot not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
